The works of the individual poets, vols.1-11, have their own titlepages dated from 1792 to 1795, with the imprint: Edinburgh: Printed by Mundell and Son, but pagination and signatures within each volume are continuous. Vol.11 has an additional letter press titlepage, dated 1794, to the volume: 'The works of the British poets. With prefaces, biographical and critical, by Robert Anderson, M.D.' - An advertisement for this publication reads: "This day are published, by Mundell and Son, printers, ."
