[1] has same imprint as main title.--Pt. [2] is the same but with initials T.N. in place of Tho. Newcomb.--Imprint of Pt. [3] omits all mention of the printer and reads "London : Printed for Sam Lowndes ... "--All three have the same date "An account of the persons touched by his Sacred Majesty King Charles the Second, for the cure of the Kings Evil, from May 1660. taken from a register kept by Thomas Haynes " final 6 unnumbered leaves of Pt. [3] Publishers' advertisements: final page Frontispiece engravings signed R. White.--One is a portrait of the author, the other a scene of Charles II giving the Royal Touch: in some variants this has an engraved title: "The Royal gift of healing", in others there is no title Variants: In some copies the "Si" of the t.p. motto is displaced upwards, and the final "s" of "Lowndes" is displaced further downwards than usual [1].
