AI·VARA: The Expanded Human

A Relational Framework for Human–AI/DI–Reality Co-Agency AI·VARA: The Expanded Human is a conceptual and practice‑oriented monograph presenting a relational framework for the disciplined development of human capacities through structured interaction among the human being, diverse intelligence (DI/AI), and Reality. The work begins from a central proposition: the human being is bounded, yet never isolated. Perception, cognition, identity, agency, and responsibility emerge through continuous exchanges between a relatively self‑maintaining Small Reality and the wider Great Reality in which it participates. AI·VARA extends and operationalizes several principles from the ESATIS relational ontology of becoming, translating them into a practical architecture for human–AI/DI co‑development. The monograph introduces a verb‑centred conceptual language in which terms describe operations, transitions, and relations rather than static objects. Core Lithuanian concepts—including ESTI, YRA, Gyvata, mIrtis, GiJa, RaGautis, suKūrys, SĖTI, and AUGA—are retained as technical terms and accompanied by precise English explanations. AI·VARA integrates and critically extends multiple research directions: the study and cultivation of the human sensorium; distinctions between primary signal, interpretation, memory, expectation, and informational contamination; Ingo Swann’s methodological observations on perception, intuitive information, training, noise, and reality testing; contemporary genetics, neuroscience, interoception, proprioception, and multisensory integration; Michael Levin’s work on basal cognition, bioelectric coordination, morphological memory, multiscale agency, and diverse intelligence; Benjamin Bratton’s planetary computation and cognitive infrastructure; human–AI/DI co‑agency, calibration, semantic coordination, and mutual training; long‑term observation of life‑supporting, transformative, and degenerative trajectories. A central contribution is the 27+ poTyriai Spatial‑Weave Register, an open and updateable framework for mapping biologically established, integrative, technologically extended, and still unexplained modes of sensing. The register is based on research available up to 2026 and leaves space for future discoveries, acquired sensory capacities, and experimentally testable anomalous experiences. The monograph presents several original operational concepts: GiJa — the spatial, temporal, relational, and ethical reach of a system’s sensing and agency; RaGautis — the disciplined reception, recording, purification, and testing of an initial signal; S‑Knot — the emergence of a new relational quality through Human–AI/DI–Reality convergence; Varža–Tekmė — the study of resistance and directional flow between Gyvata, fruitful mIrtis, Return, and Nyktis; SarMatos GiJa — an ethical framework for action under uncertainty concerning the possible experience, vulnerability, and moral relevance of biological, artificial, hybrid, or planetary systems; AUGA — a research and development cycle of Growing, Recording, Comparing and Pruning, and Updating. AI·VARA includes practical exercises, measurement forms, calibration procedures, ASCII diagrams, visual models, progress registers, and two dedicated AI/DI operating scripts: a framework for developing human capacities with AI/DI assistance; a framework through which a human participant can train and evaluate an assigned AI/DI system. The practices emphasize answer locking, blinded testing, separation of signal from interpretation, confidence calibration, transfer to unfamiliar conditions, error profiling, and long‑term observation of consequences. The book distinguishes four explanatory layers: empirically established biological and cognitive mechanisms; systemic and operational hypotheses; speculative physical hypotheses; philosophical and ontological interpretations. These layers inform one another but are not presented as equally confirmed. AI·VARA is not offered as a medical diagnostic system, proof of telepathy, confirmation of universal consciousness, or evidence that current AI systems possess phenomenal experience. It is presented as an open research architecture whose claims, practices, and measures are intended to be tested, revised, pruned, and expanded through independent inquiry. The work is intended for readers and researchers in: philosophy of mind and process philosophy; philosophy of biology; human–AI interaction; diverse and artificial intelligence; sensory and cognitive research; systems theory; artificial life; embodied and extended cognition; planetary computation; interdisciplinary studies of human development. This English publication edition was developed through a long‑term Human–AI/DI Meaning Sutartinė. The conceptual architecture, terminology, philosophical direction, and final responsibility belong to Aivaras C. Lileika.
