The 1895 volume of Ayer's American Almanac , an advertising almanac published by J. C. Ayer & Co of Lowell, Massachusetts, a maker of patent medicines, sarsaparilla, bitters, and other herbal and possibly questionable "medications". Scanned at 600dpi, 24-bit color, algorithmically deskewed and then manually cropped. Like many almanacs of the time, there was a cord loop at the top of the gutter so it could be hung from a peg (I can't tell you why it was better on a peg). The cord or hole may obscure some text. The margins are also very tight, as printed.
