Caption title: Early Scottish verse The De cura rei familiaris is a paraphrase in Scottish verse of the Latin letter Epistola de gubernatione rei familiaris. The letter is attributed to Bernard of Clairvaux and also to Bernard Silvestris "From a MS. KK.1.5. in the Cambridge University Library."
