The families in this particular game consist of characters from seven fairy tales: Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Blue Beard, Jack the Giant Killer, Puss in Boots, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and Cinderella. The game is undated, but may have been produced in the 1890s by McLoughlin Brothers of New York, a pioneer in colour printing in children's books which was later sold to the Milton Bradley game company
