The prefatory "propositiones" (A2r-B1v) are headed: Expositio librorvm Gebri et Raimundi, ex Tuscanico idiomate traducta ... incerto authore Dialogvs primvs, veram et genvinam librorum Gebri sententiam explicans (B1r-O4v) was first published in Venice in 1544 under title: La espositione di Geber filosofo. The 2nd dialog (P1r-O4r), entitled Lignvm vitae, was first published in Rome in 1542 under title: Il legno della vita. These Latin versions by Guglielmo Grataroli were included in his compilation Verae alchemiae artisque metallicae citra aenigmata ..., published Basel, 1561.
