Franciscan Missal This manuscript was illuminated in Paris, in grisaille with coloured tints, and is of the school of Jean Pucelle, though the script and pale grey ink suggest Southern France. The symbols of the four evangelists occur very frequently in the margins. Note: folios 1-10v are in arabic numerals, including the calendar. These precede the main section of this manuscript which is foliated in roman numerals (ie., ff.i-ccccxvi).
