165, [3] pages : 16 cm (8vo) chris Signatures: A-K⁸ L⁴ Last 3 pages blank Title vignette; head-pieces, initials "The first eight pages are printed as usual, then on p. 9, and every fourth page thereafter, there is a steel engraving containing four small emblematic pictures with a motto and an alchemist's name. Below the engraving are printed the mottos. Pp. 10-11, 14-15, 18-19, and so on to the end, are blank. Pp. 8, 12, and every fourth page thereafter, have two couplets on each of the symbols on the following page"--Ferguson
