Numerous engraved ill., many of them juxtaposing human facial types with the faces of animals (repeats). Head- and tail-pieces made up from printer's ornaments, historiated initials Binding: limp vellum. Title written at head of spine. Remains of 2 pairs of ties at foredge At upper left-hand corner of front pastedown is Theodore Besterman's calligraphic label, signed in the plate by P.S
