Description
Kalendarium, selection, with added medical and astrological texts, partly in English The Kalendarium of Nicolas of Lynn, ed. S. Eisner (Athens, GA, 1980), MS. As2 (pp. 42-43), who notes that the manuscript omits the prologue, first and second Metonic cycles (cycles 1425-1443 and 1444-1462 are given), the tables and figures of solar eclipses, the table and figures of lunar eclipses through 1419, the table of ascensions and beginnings of houses, table of movable feasts, the table of continuation of the motion of the sun, the table for discovering the dignities of the planets in their signs, and all the canons. Saints in the calendar correspond closely to those in MS. Rawl. C. 895. 'This manuscript appears to be a copy of what remained pertinent of the Kalendarium after the first quarter of the fifteenth century'.
