An acrostic in Latin through chapter initials provides the author's name: Poliam frater Franciscvs Colvmna peramavit. Khomentovskaia however, has attributed the work to Felice Feliciano Latin half-title: Poliphili hypnerotomachia, ubi humana omnia non nisi somnium esse ostendit, atque obiter plurima scitu sanequam digna comemorat. (leaf a1) Printing house derived from colophon. Printer's device on t.p. and verso of final leaf Signatures: [pi]⁴a-y⁸z¹0A-E⁸F⁴. e1, s2 missigned c, S2, k as K Text on n1v and n8r transposed Italian text originally issued in 1499 with Latin title: Hypnerotomachia Poliphili Woodcuts are those of the 1499 Aldine ed. with the exception of 8 which are copies Khomentovskaia, A.
