Description: ff. ii + 155 + ii - Inserted, perhaps about 1901 in England, into a binding made up of late 16th-century brown calf covers with single gold rule and central oval medallion with floral motifs stamped in gold, perhaps Flemish or English, the backstrip of two pieces of leather crudely sewn onto the covers, loose in covers. - Denis Duveen; Mellon MS 27, acquired with the Duveen collection. Gift of Paul and Mary Mellon, 1965. - Witten, Laurence C. and Pachella, Richard. Alchemy and the Occult: A Catalogue of Books and Manuscripts from the Collection of Paul and Mary Mellon.
