Includes detailed records, minutes, letters, petitions, dispensations, and returns from subordinate Mark Lodges and Royal Arch Chapters in the state of Vermont. Records mention notable Freemasons like William Miller , the founder of the Millerite movement which led to several Adventist denominations (including the Seventh-day Adventist church). William Miller was a prominent Freemason for over 20 years and joined at least two separate lodges, including one mentioned in this book: Morning Star Mark Lodge No. 4, originally located in Poultney, and later in Fair Haven. Includes an illustration on page 557 of a hand emerging from a cloud and pouring oil into the Lamp of Knowledge, which is resting on a book. Published by Free Press and Times Print.
