Deckelumrahmung durch breite, mit floralen und geometrischen Mustern sowie mit stilisierten arabischen Buchstaben gefüllte Leisten. Als Mittelornament eine aus mehreren übereinander gelegten Kreisen bestehende Blüte mit Anhängern in Form von Halbmonden, deren Spitzen den Rahmen berühren. Das Papier wurde zum Teil schon im Orient ausgebessert. Der ursprüngliche, im maġribinischen Duktus geschriebene Text setzt ein auf Blatt 4a.
