The Wonders of the Invisible World is a Puritan theological account of witchcraft, demonic possession, and spiritual warfare, written by Cotton Mather during the Salem Witch Trials. Mather documents cases of alleged supernatural interference, arguing for the reality of Satan’s influence and the necessity of vigilance against evil. Though controversial today, the text reflects the worldview of 17th-century New England Puritanism. This edition provides insight into early American religious thought, demonology, and the psychological climate of the colonial era.
