A 2nd issue of this 1st ed. appeared, also in 1588, with Porro's name replaced in the imprint by that of Francesco Ziletti. A 2nd ed. by Porro appeared in 1589; see Mortimer. A 2nd work by Pezzi begins on F1r: Dialogvs de sacramentis, in communi à sacris doctoribus excerptus. Signing and paging continuous For details of ill. see Mortimer. The engravings, including t.p., are by Porro. The port. of Pezzi (A4v) is 1st state. The double-page engraving of Vinea Domini (**v-***r) is in unshaded state. Twelve additional full-page engravings, numbered at lower left, elaborate on sections of the double-page engraving. Woodcut device on E7r.
