We, the R. W. Master and Officers of the Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, No. 86, held at the Prince George, in the Borough of Plymouth, in the County of Devon, do hereby certify unto all whom it may concern tht Mr. Alexander Whitehead was on the 11th day of April 1786 made an entered apprentice and passed to the degree of a fellow craft and for his attention and progress in the Masonry was on the 21st day of April 1786 rais'd to the sublime degree of a master in our Lodge, in which capacities he behaved himself as a worthy brother, and as such we recommend him to all regular lodges throughout the globe
