Great are you, O Lord, and exceedingly worthy of praise, your power is immense, and your wisdom beyond reckoning. CAN any praise be worthy of the Lord's majesty? Great art Thou, O Lord, and greatly to be praised ; great is Thy power, and Thy wisdom infinite. i (1) 'You are great, Lord, and highly to be praised (Ps. 47: 2): great is your power and your wisdom is immeasurable' (Ps. 146:5). "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;"5 "Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite."6 Confessions of the greatness and unsearchableness of God, of God's mercies in infancy and boyhood, and human willfulness. (1) You are great, O Lord, and greatly to be praised: great is your power and to your wisdom there is no limit.
