Lavater von der Physiognomik, Leipzig, 1772. Lavater's 2d recension, "virtually the 1st ed. of the real work" has title: Physiognomische Fragmente. See Bibliotheca Osleriana, nos. 3176-3180 Uniformly bound in early 19th century tree calf; black leather inlays on front and rear boards; gold tooling on boards and spine; marbled edges 4 v. : 36 cm.
