176 unnumbered pages ; 16 cm. (8vo) "Lucius Fenestella" was the pseudonym of Andrea Domenico Fiocco; the book is a literary hoax, finally discredited in 1561 "Valentinvs Cvrio lectori salvtem", p. [2] Signatures: A-L⁸ Imprint from BM STC German 1450-1600 Adams (F596) gives the date of publication as c.1520 Title within historiated woodcut border; woodcut initials; printed in Italic type throughout Unpaginated; with printed marginalia [36], 357 [i.e. 255] [1] p. ; 16 cm. (8vo) Sloan candidate Publisher statement from colophon, which gives full date of publication as: Anno M.D. XXXVIII. Mense Martio. Same statement appears at end of index on leaf c2r Signatures: a-b⁸, c², A-Q⁸ Several errors in pagination between p. 241 [i.e. 239] and 357 [i.e. 255]
