Mejera, królewskiego matematyka i kartografa (sporządził mapy) i C. Danckwertha (tekst). Dzieło rozpoczyna się tekstem dedykacyjnym, następnie zamieszczono spis zawartości z podziałem na 3 części: "Der Erste Teihl von den beeden Hertzogthümen Schleswich und Holstein zussamen genommen", "Der Ander Teihl von dem Hertzogthume Schleswich", "Der Dritte Teihl von dem Hertzogthume Holstein". Na końcu załączono 3 s. erratę. Oprócz opisów geograficznych także tablice genealogiczne. Dzieło przez długi czas było podstawowym źródłem wiedzy o tym obszarze, a mapy były podstawą przeróbek, m.in. przez oficynę Blaeu'a do Atlas Novus.
