The Christian's secret of a happy life

by Hannah Whitall Smith

  • First published:
  • 19th century
  • Language: English

When I approach this subject of the true Chris tian life,-that life which is hid with Christ in God; so many thoughts struggle for utterance that I am almost speechless. The potential for a happy abundant Christian life is available to all who would make Jesus the Lord of their lives, yet there are many Christians whose lives lack the joy and fullness of a truly happy life. No thoughtful person can question the fact that most of the Christian life, as it is generally lived, is not entirely a happy life.
